A ton of catch-up posts!

Horseback riding as a family. September 2009
We took the kids for a change of scenery. We went to the Bear River posse grounds. Look how brave. I was so proud of them all.

What cute KIDS!

Fall Soccer 2009 for Brenden

Peach Days 2009 Junior Parade

We actually made it. Brenden, McKenna, Maggie and Maren all rode on the Honeyville Firetruck float. Brenden made it to the top of the fire truck. The girls rode on the hay bales. They had a great time. Even though we couldn't find them at the end. Thanks to a phone call from the FIRE CHIEF, we were reunited. How embarrassing!

In Maren's words, "Look Mom, it's Ol' McDonald"

Back to School 2009

It is that time of year again. I can't believe how fast summer flew by. It just seems like I just posted all the fun stuff we did this summer. I can't believe Brenden is in Intermediate school. I feel really old.

Back to school party at Mary Louise's. She made fresh lemonade and served cookies. Thanks Mary!

Box Elder County Fair August 2009

The fair was great this year. It was a learning experience for all of us. The cows were HUGE! "Harry", Brenden's calf, weighed in at 622lbs. Brenden received a blue ribbon and a plaque for "Best Rate of Gain". In other words, the Fattest Cow Award.
"Steaky", McKenna's calf, weighed in at 457lbs. She received a blue ribbon also.

Brenden decided he was in the mood to ride a bull. Ride'm Cowboy!
August 2009
The kids love little Ginger. She is a roudy addition to our family.
She definitely brings a lot of laughs and love.

I love this one! "Don't move Sucka"

Brenden and McKenna working with their cows in prep for fair. This was wash day. We have definitely learned to avoid the tail when it is wet. It's deadly! You will quickly learn how a fly feels.
