I am a terrible Blogger! I am going to commit to entering a new post every month. Baby steps! Someday I might be as good as Rachel! (The queen blogger) Our family is doing really well. We have enjoyed the Holiday's and are looking forward to a great New Year. Here is the catch up of the last three months.
I am hoping to get my hands on the best picture of the day. Holly took Kenna down on the double tube down the path with the jump. They had to of soared 5 feet off the ground. Dave was at the bottom of the hill taking pictures of those catching air. Their picture is hilarious. Needless to say, that was the last time McKenna went down that part of the mountain.
We went to Grandma and Grandpa Florence's on December 27th for their Christmas party. We followed it up with a day of sledding. Maren was hilarious! She screamed like a girl (go figure) all the way down the mountain and then could not wait to do it again. Neither Trent, nor I could sled so thank heavens for Aunt Holly and Aunt Joey. They came to the rescue. Funny, I just got a good look at this picture and due to the facial hair, by reason of deduction, this is Uncle Dave.
They were a little disappointed in the lack of presents this year until they opened the Wii. Can you tell from the huge grin across their faces?
Trent got the Cabella's Hunting game and a Wii gun. Look out Bambi! Run, Run very far!
Christmas morning 2008 we woke up to over a foot of fresh new snow. This is a picture of the kids raiding their stocking to see what Santa brought.
Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Rutherford's. We had dinner and then they opened the traditional PJ's.
McKenna's 9th Birthday. She is a cheesecake addict, so she was very happy when she found out that is what we were having.
Trent is going to kill me for posting this picture, but I couldn't resist! He went in for a joint replacement of his right big toe.
Poor little piggies!
The kids had their second piano recital. They were able to pick out their own Christmas song to perform. They did such a good job.
